Space Education for Curious Minds
LEARN. EXPLORE. DISCOVER.
What is the Young Astonauts Club?
- The Young Astronauts Club is an Australian space education program for children aged 8–12, helping them see themselves as future problem-solvers in space. Children learn about real space missions, Australia’s role in the global space industry, and the people building our space future.
- Our programs teach the 'Astronaut Mindset' — developing STEM knowledge alongside confidence, resilience, and teamwork through hands-on challenges. YAC began as a small school club in Far North Queensland and is now based in Canberra, expanding nationally through online programs and school partnerships. At its core, YAC exists to ensure a child’s postcode does not limit their dreams.
Launching Soon in 2026
The countdown has begun.
After the success of our in-school programs, the Young Astronauts Club is expanding into a national online mission experience for Australian children aged 8–12yrs old.
Each mission includes:
- Real space topics
- Australia’s growing role in space
- Practical hands-on challenges you can do at home
- Training in the Astronaut Mindset
This is structured, meaningful learning - designed to help children see themselves as future problem-solvers in Space and in life.
No prior space knowledge required, just curiosity and a willingness to have a go.
Join the mission and be first to hear when enrolments open.
